Detailed Description
Evening primrose oil contains gamma-linolenic acid (GLA), an essential fatty acid and has been used for eczema (a condition in which the skin becomes inflamed, itchy, or scaly because of allergies or other irritation) since the 1930s. More recently it has been used for other conditions involving inflammation, such as rheumatoid arthritis as well as used for conditions affecting women's health, such as breast pain associated with the menstrual cycle, menopausal symptoms, and premenstrual syndrome (PMS). Supplement Facts Serving Size 1 Soft Gelatin Capsule Amount Per Serving Calories: 15 Calories From Fat: 10 Amount % Daily Value Total Fat 1.5 g 2% Polyunsaturated Fat 1 g * Cis-Linoleic Acid (LA) 949 mg Gamma-Linolenic Acid 117 mg Evening Primrose Oil 1500 mg * **Percent Daily Values are based on a 2,000 calorie diet. *Daily Value not established. Other Ingredients: Gelatin, glycerin, and purified water SUGGESTED USE: As a dietary supplement, take one (1) soft gelatin capsule with each meal. Do not exceed three (3) soft gelatin capsules daily.
